Trans Agulhas

The race that inspired a dream

Often described by organisers and participants as one of the toughest inflatable boat endurance challenges.

The Trans Agulhas is a demanding South African multi-stage inflatable powerboat endurance event along the Southern Cape coastline. Its route, stages, regulations and distances have changed across editions.

For Peter, this event holds special meaning. As a child, he watched racing boats arrive at Strand Beach around New Year's Day. Years later, he would go on to win the event three times, according to his racing record.
